Design of Experiment
When trying to solve a problem or improve a process, the optimal solution is not always found by varying just one factor at a time. By using a designed experiment approach, you can perform some carefully designed experiments under controlled conditions to identify the optimal solution. Designed experiments allow you to see how various factors interact with each other. In this course, you will learn what full and fractional factorials are, how to identify which factors to vary, how to establish the settings for each factor, how to create and interpret main effects and interaction plots. We will also cover the three R’s of DoE’s: replication, repetition, and randomization. Throughout the course the participants will apply the concepts taught to an actual hands-on activity to optimize a simulated process.
